“Looking back, I would like to have better time management. I mean, I’m sure all of us can say this, but me personally, that was a major struggle. Along with this, I would’ve liked myself to have been more open minded. For a long time, I struggled to even be ok with the word college because I didn’t think that there were any other options for me in life. When I finally stopped and talked it all out, I found that there was so much more out there for me than I could’ve imagined and now I cannot wait for college. I never thought I would be this excited to start a whole new life in the direction that makes me happy. Sometimes I think that High School limits your options because there’s only so much time in the day. This year especially, I wish I took a baking class. I also learned this year that I love art. I found my creative side again with my electives and I wish that I took more art classes in high school, because it’s rare that you’ll get that kind of opportunity later. One thing i’d say just to put it out there is if you want to do something, and you have the chance to, take it. Do it, because you never know when you’ll have the ability to do so later. Try out for that team, sign up for that club, nobody can force you to stay or do anything you don’t want to. It’s up to you. You decide what’s best for you, so go out there and reach your goals, follow your dreams.”
