Lincoln’s Beloved Equine Traditions

Oreo (named because of the pattern on her coat) is facing the back side of the farm. She is always willing to have her photo taken and is quite photogenic.

My family’s farm have been running for over a century, generations passed on for years. I live across the street from this farm, so I wanted to see all of the horses and try to get a old farm aesthetic.

I wanted to capture these horses and part of the farm because I enjoy nature. Most of the horse I took photos of are owned by the farm, the only one whose owner is someone else was Lilian. I think that these photos came out good because of how I used angles, shapes etc. I really enjoy taking photography because it is cool to see how backgrounds and the subject come together.

  • Vivian is one of the youngest horses on the farm. She has these unique hoofs and is very sweet.
