- The Celtics, fresh off a campaign that watched them progress to the Eastern Conference Finals and nearly mount an incredible comeback against Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat, open the season against the New York Knicks. Pending complications with injury, it will be the first game for newly acquired center Kristaps Porzingis in Celtic green.

- Two days after opening night for Boston, the team hosts Miami for the first time since being defeated in seven games in the Eastern Conference Finals. At this stage in the offseason, it is also possible that all-league guard Damian Lillard may be on the Heat for this game, although conversations on a deal appear halted.
Wednesday, November 8th, 2023
- Boston travels to Philadelphia for the first time this season. The Celtics narrowly defeated the 76ers in seven games in the 2023 Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Friday, November 10th, 2023
- The Celtics open the in-season tournament, in its first annual installment, against the Brooklyn Nets.
Tuesday, December 19th, 2023
- Boston opens up a four-game West Coast trip, first by facing the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors defeated the Celtics in the 2022 NBA Finals. The next two games in the trip are against the Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Clippers, both expected to be contenders this season.
Monday, December 25th, 2023
- The Celtics’ road trip reaches its final destination against longtime rival Los Angeles Lakers. In a Christmas Day game, the Celtics look to hang another loss on Los Angeles, who added several key free agents this summer and are looking to maximize the remaining years of LeBron James, who infamously was hit with a brutal no-call in a game against Boston last season which made him irate.

- In a New Year’s Eve game, Boston is challenged by the San Antonio Spurs, and first-overall pick Victor Wembenyama. Hailed as the best thing out of France since the baguette, Wembenyama’s first game in Boston will tip off just hours before the New Year is ushered in.
Friday, January 19th, 2024
- The reigning champion Denver Nuggets travel to Boston against the Celtics in the first of two contests this season.
Sunday, February 4th, 2024
- Boston hosts the Memphis Grizzlies. Assuming health, this will be Marcus Smart’s return to Boston following a summertime transaction that sent Smart to Memphis and led to the acquisition of Kristaps Porzingis for the Celtics.
Saturday, February 24th, 2024 to Saturday, March 9th, 2024
- Perhaps the toughest series of games in the Celtics’ season, Boston competes against playoff teams from last season in six straight contests: Philly, Dallas, Golden State, Cleveland, Denver, and Phoenix.
Sunday, April 14th, 2024
- The Celtics round off the 2023-24 season with a game against the Washington Wizards at TD Garden. The Wizards shipped off franchise cornerstone Bradley Beal to the Phoenix Suns in a summer blockbuster over two months ago.
