Growing up, my father would always bring me fishing. He has been bringing me since I was a small child around the age of three. Due to my father, I now have an obsession and a strong connection with fishing and nature. If I am not busy with baseball then you’ll most likely be finding me at a pond, river, or lake. More recently, I have been taking my friends fishing and they love it. Instead of going out and spending money on useless things we would rather go out into nature and do something productive. They get annoyed sometimes though, they just started fishing this past year so it’s going to be harder for them to catch fish like me. Once they see me catch more than three fish they start getting mad which is kind of funny. Most fishing days end up with me catching around seven fish while all three of my boys have a combined one or two. Before they started going fishing with me they would always say “Fishing ain’t that hard bro I’d outfish you any day of the week”, but now that they come along with me they understand that it is difficult if you are inexperienced.
My dad has also been busy recently with work and taking care of his four kids so we haven’t had much time to fish and spend some time together. However, when we do find the time, every fishing trip ends up with me outfishing him by a landslide. It’s a massacre! However, the problem is that when we do have time we also have to bring my younger siblings because if we don’t they start going haywire.
