One day you’ll wake up and think “I’ve got it.” Getting up and ready early, going to school, passing that test, having a perfect practice after, and then immediately going to work and getting there on time. Every day on repeat. Life is a fully scheduled calendar, and regardless of whether you’ve canceled an appointment or not, there’s always something. One day you wake up and you realize your alarm never went off. You were late to school, and then you find out you failed that test you studied so hard for. At the end of practice, you’re beating yourself up because you messed up. Everybody messes up.
In every mistake or “fail” you make, you’re not alone. Everyone will go through difficulties or have hard times in their lives, and because of them they’ll make mistakes. These mistakes could lead to failure. Failing is ok. Failing is what makes us stronger, and better. It teaches us of our weakness and tests us on whether or not we can overcome them. What matters is that the next day you wake up to your alarm and do better. Don’t let your mistakes walk all over you, they don’t own you, they don’t define you, and you control them.
When you fall you get up, if you spill something you clean it. Our mistakes are the same, they come but they’ll go to. Failing is the next step to success and sometimes you’ve got to fall in order to fly. So allow yourself to make a mistake here and there without them how could we ever better ourselves. In the long run, there will always be something waiting for you even if it takes a few bumps to get there, the race is always on.
