Everything You Need to Know About Spirit Week!

In-School Events

Classes can also earn Spirit Week points at Battle of the Classes, creating a class banner that will be voted on by faculty/staff, by bringing in coins for the coin wars, purchasing yearbooks, or bringing in canned food for the food drive. Additional information below.

Coin Wars:
- Pennies are positive (+) points, and Dimes, Nickels, and Quarters are negative (-) points.
- Gather as many pennies for your class as possible and put all other coins in other class’ jugs anytime during the week from October 21 to October 25. (but not during class!)
- COIN COLLECTION WILL END AT 9:00 A.M. on Friday, October 25th.
- 100% of the proceeds go to Town of Lincoln Giving Tree
- The grade with the most points collected will receive 10,000 Spirit Week points!!
- The jugs will be labeled and located in the front lobby, outside of the Main Office.
Food Drive:
- All the food that is collected will go to the town for the Thanksgiving baskets, so please participate in this event. As Lions, we have a responsibility to help those who are in need. Boxes will be located in the front lobby outside of the Main Office. FOOD COLLECTION ENDS AT 9 AM FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25.
- Each Class is assigned certain foods: Take note of what YOUR class should be bringing in!
  - Seniors – corn and cranberry sauce
  - Juniors – carrots and stuffing
  - Sophomores – peas and (instant) potatoes
  - Freshmen – squash, pumpkin, and gravy

Wednesday
- Battle of the Classes (6pm in the gym)
- Students can purchase tickets through their Class Exec Boards. Check Class Google Classrooms or check in with Class Advisors if you need more information.
Friday
- The Homecoming Football game is on Friday, October 25th at 6:00 PM.
- The Mane Event Food Truck will be on hand serving up some tasty treats!

Saturday
- Homecoming Dance (6:30 PM in the PEC)
- Breathalyzers will begin at 6:00 PM.
- Students can purchase tickets via MySchoolBucks from October 16-October 23rd. If there are any questions related to this, please reach out to the Student Council advisors identified below.
- Additional dance related information will be sent directly to students, including the student entrance pattern
